Designed by the architect's Valencia practice, the Spanish house's [sharp and monolithic concrete volumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/el-pastizal) curve and intersect with one another from a bird's eye view, but rise with the landscape on ground level, giving it a complexly three dimensional form. Because of the landscape that the house covers, the architects have named it '[House of Seven Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-three-heights).' The shape of the design allows for both exterior and covered green spaces, due to the overlapping concrete volumes. Geographically speaking, the ends of the house's volumes face in the direction of the Sierra de Gazalema mountain range (immediately in view,) with Sierra Nevada and the African coast beyond that. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Tiered Garden Architecture:** Opportunity to design homes that are integrated into tiered gardens, providing both exterior and covered green spaces. - **Monolithic Concrete Volumes:** Opportunity to experiment with curved and intersecting concrete volumes to create three-dimensional forms. - **Geography-inspired Design:** Opportunity to draw inspiration from the surrounding geography to shape the design of the home. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** The architecture industry can incorporate tiered garden designs and curved concrete volumes in their residential projects. - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can market homes with tiered gardens and unique three-dimensional designs. - **Tourism:** The tourism industry can explore the possibility of creating vacation homes or hotels inspired by geography, such as facing a mountain range or coast. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Curved Garden-Surrounding Linear Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-dos-terraos-circulares.md) - [Chilean Hillside Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-three-heights.md) - [Park-Nestled Concrete Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-serra.md) - [Hillside Concrete Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concrete-house-1.md) - [Orange Tonal Concrete Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colien-house.md) - [Burnt Orange Walled Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-magarola.md) - [Landscape-Blending Concrete Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/el-pastizal.md) - [Concrete Brutalist Hilltop Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pedro-domingos-arquitectos.md) - [Refreshing Micro-Living Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sffr-house.md)
