Lucas y Hernández Gil was given the task to [modernize the flat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhaus-budapest-apartment), in order to make it agreeable to today's standards of living. The local studio completely dominated the project, maintaining some of the interior's features but ultimately producing a brand new spacious apartment layout.
