The SPACEPLATES Greenhouse by N55 and Anne Romme is geometric. This structure works as a [greenhouse and classroom](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-educational-architecture), and was completed in 2012. It is located in a parking lot at the [South Bristol Skills Academy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yonhap) in Bristol, UK.

Greenhouses have varied climates to allow plants and food to grow in places where they would normally not surive. SPACEPLATES uses a [pure plate structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/havn) to create its curvature and has a strong thin exterior. It was constructed from four-millimeter aluminum plates screwed together with acrylic windows. The structure uses modern technology that resembles five giant connected bubbles with natural geometries like a sea urchin's shell. Another SPACEPLATES Greenhouse is being constructed in Prags Have, Copenhagen and will open the summer or fall of 2012.
