Since the plates and planets are both round, the pairing is a seamless one. Although it might have been even more novel if the plates were differently sized according to scale, the different colors makes it easy to identify which plate is your own. The plates are made to represent each of the eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and of course, our very own Earth—as it is no longer considered a planet Pluto the planetoid has been excluded. The set of dishwasher-safe plates comes as an entire set for about $40, so that you're ready to throw an epic party that's out of this world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interstellar Entertaining:** Opportunities for space-themed party wares and decorations. - **Planetary Decor:** Opportunities for space-themed decor and home furnishings. - **Novelty Homewares:** Opportunities for unique and playful home goods. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Goods:** There are opportunities for companies within the home goods industry to create unique and playful items for consumers. - **Party Supplies:** There are opportunities for companies within the party supplies industry to create space-themed wares, decorations and more. - **Decor:** There are opportunities for companies within the decor industry to create space-themed products for consumers looking to add a quirky touch to their living space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Stackable Tableware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tableware-ecosystem.md) - [All-in-One Eco Party Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knork-eco-party-plate.md) - [Luxurious Patterned Ceramic Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patterned-ceramic-plates.md) - [Playful Space-Themed Desserts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacethemed-dessert.md) - [Colorful Enamelware Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-tigress.md) - [Celestial Body Office Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-chair-solar-series.md) - [Zero Gravity-Dining Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zero-microgravity.md) - [Luxury Solar System Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bejeweled-solar-system-set.md) - [Astronomy-Based Children's Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-solar-system-set.md)
