The camping accoutrement works by being positioned into the flatbed of the truck and not adding too much to the exterior form of the vehicle. The camper compartment will open up to reveal ample space on the interior for preparing a meal or sleeping, depending on how it's oriented. The Space Camper weighs in at 470-pounds and comes with a battery pack to deliver comfortable living in the wilderness for up to a week. The camper conversion offers an expansive eight-feet of headroom to maximize the airy feeling when spending time inside in the evening on a trip. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Aftermarket Camper Solutions for Electric Trucks:** The rising trend of electric trucks creates a need for aftermarket solutions such as the Space Camper to cater to the camping and outdoor experience of the EV owners. - **Modular Camper Compartment:** The modular and compact design of the Space Camper suggests opportunities for innovation in the modular home industry. - **Weeklong Comfort in the Wilderness:** The ability of the Space Camper to provide comfortable living in the wilderness for up to a week highlights the potential for disruptive innovation in the sustainable tourism industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Automotive:** As electric trucks gain traction, companies in the automotive industry can partner with aftermarket solution providers such as the Space Camper to enhance the utility of the vehicles. - **Camping and Outdoors:** The Space Camper highlights the potential for innovation in the camping and outdoor industry, specifically in creating modular and portable solutions that work well with electric trucks. - **Sustainable Tourism:** The Space Camper's ability to provide a comfortable camping experience for up to a week in the wilderness hints at potential opportunities in the sustainable tourism industry to cater to eco-tourism and sustainable travel enthusiasts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Modern EV Rooftop Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-campers-the-cap.md) - [Conformable Concept Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-camper.md) - [Geodesic EV Truck Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tesla-cybertruck-basecamp.md) - [Off-Grid Truck Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auriga-explorer.md) - [Lightweight Folding Vehicle Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-rv-pod.md) - [Low-Profile Pickup Truck Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trailster-camper.md) - [Modular Slide-In Truck Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/four-wheel-campers.md) - [Angular Electric Bike Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyberdrop.md) - [Truck Camper Conversion Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pickup-camper-kit.md)
