This was arguably one of the the smartest decisions Renaud has ever made, because the results are absolutely fabulous. Foster-Dimino has created drawings that invoke a sense of near-euphoric cheer in the viewer. You simply can't walk away from one of her drawings with a frown on your face; at most, you may feel a twinge of jealousy at the artist's incredible ability and passion. Foster-Dimino has been involved in many other cool projects throughout her career -- for instance, she's been a Google Doodler in San Francisco for years. All her success is well deserved; Foster-Dimino's work seamlessly incorporates elements of teen flicks, [graphic novels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halftone) and [Japanese animation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girls-crew). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pop Culure Illustrations:** Opportunity for disruption in the publishing industry through incorporating more exuberant and joyful illustrations in magazines and comics. - **Teen Flick-inspired Art:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the film industry by incorporating more visually appealing illustration styles in films targeting teenagers and young adults. - **Combining Animation Styles:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the animation industry by exploring and integrating different animation styles into one cohesive product. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Publishing:** Incorporating more visual appeal through joyful illustrations may aid future editions of magazines. - **Film:** Teen flicks and young adult animations can integrate exuberant comic illustrations to capture new audiences. - **Animation:** Utilize the combined animation styles used in the illustrations to transform the traditional animation industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Cat Illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-meow.md) - [Cheekily Creative Bookmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illustrated-bookmarks.md) - [Whimsical Soccer-Themed Illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soccerthemed-illustrations.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Raunchy Anime-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manuela-soto-sosa.md) - [Vibrant Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neon-primitivism.md) - [Personalized Comic Book Creation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas.md) - [Enchanting Classic-Animation-Inspired Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girls-crew.md) - [Whimsically Vibrant Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorama.md)
