I'm not sure how to welcome Ryan David Francis's radically different [Sony](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-cybershot) DSLR redesign. Perhaps because its shape, though aesthetically pleasing, must be handled rather than simply gazed upon. The goal of Francis's Sony DSLR redesign was to offer a [variety of ways to grip](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hikawa-phone-grip) Sony's DSLR camera. Considering that how a camera feels in one's hands is just as important as how well it shoots, this is an admirable attempt at designing for the consumer.
