The case comes in several style options to fit the iPhone 7 and up, and is outfitted with a solar panel on the rear that will passively draw energy from the sun when exposed to UV rays. This enables users to maximize their usage without the need for traditional charging capabilities, while also allowing them to focus on a more sustainable energy source that could save money on an electrical bill at the end of the month. The Soliz Case sports a relatively slim design that will also protect your device from bumps and scrape to keep it in optimal working order. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Solar-powered Smartphone Cases:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the smartphone accessories market by offering users a sustainable and convenient way to charge their devices without traditional charging methods. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Smartphone Accessories:** The market for smartphone accessories can explore disruptive innovation by integrating solar-powered charging capabilities into their products. - **Renewable Energy:** The renewable energy industry can leverage solar-powered smartphone cases to promote the use of sustainable energy sources and reduce reliance on traditional charging methods. - **Consumer Electronics:** Incorporating solar-powered charging features in consumer electronics can disrupt the industry by providing eco-friendly options that reduce the need for electrical charging. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Solar-Powered Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urbanista-phoenix-earbuds.md) - [Self-Closing Smartphone Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-smartphone-charger.md) - [Power-Providing LED Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starcase.md) - [Backwards-Compatible Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obsoless-iphone-case.md) - [Power-Providing Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solove-power-bank.md) - [Solar-Powered Oral Care Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quip-solar-battery-charger.md) - [Self-Cleaning Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfcleaning-smartphone-case.md) - [Sustainable Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-13-case.md) - [Device-Charging Sun Hats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoflow-power-hat.md)
