The chair features a modernized take on the classic Adirondack chair design that works by being filled with water to give it a more substantial weight profile. This allows the chair to be positioned on a [Baja shelf in a pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-tanning-pool) where the water level is low, which will help a sitter to cool down without fully submerging in the water. The Soleil Adirondack Chair is crafted with a rugged polyurethane construction that will enable it to withstand exposure to the sun's rays. Made in the USA, the chair features a contoured design with lumbar support. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 16% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Water-filled Furniture:** There is an opportunity for creating more water-filled furniture designs to provide a unique swimming pool experience for consumers. - **Upgraded Classic Designs:** There is an opportunity to modernize classic outdoor furniture design with contemporary features to cater to an updated market. - **Eco-friendly Outdoor Furniture:** There is an opportunity to produce sustainable outdoor furniture pieces from eco-friendly materials to provide long-lasting solutions for consumers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Furniture manufacturers can leverage technology to create innovative designs that cater to consumers' evolving preferences and lives. - **Swimming Pools:** Swimming pool manufacturers can collaborate with furniture manufacturers to develop outdoor furniture pieces that fit various swimming pool designs and offer a unique swimming experience. - **Green Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can adopt green manufacturing practices to create eco-friendly products, thereby reducing environmental impact and increasing sustainability. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Outdoor Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bask-lounge.md) - [Drink-Holding Outdoor Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lago-lounge-chair.md) - [Modernized Phone-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auburn-adirondack-chair.md) - [Scandinavian-Inspired Floating Daybeds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poolsofa.md) - [Contemporary Quick-Dry Patio Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-lounge-chair.md) - [Inflatable Adirondack-Style Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bote-aerorondak-chair.md) - [Sustainable Hi-Rise Outdoor Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lollygagger.md) - [Durable Designer Outdoor Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breeo-x-series-chair.md) - [Revived Summer-Ready Furniture Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adirondack.md)
