Developed by Colorado-based [tiny house manufacturer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vettel-haus) Alpine Tiny Homes, the Phoenix tiny home's appliances are powered by a 6.5 kilowatt-hour solar panel array that is located on the ground, with the dwelling also coming with a conventional RV hookup and water connection. In terms of amenities, this solar-powered tiny home comes with a full-sized kitchen and well-stocked entertainment center complete with an electric fireplace, all made possible by a relatively large floor space of 38 square metres. Small enough to be a tiny dwelling yet just large enough to take full advantage of its solar panel array, the Phoenix is a fine example of the fluidity of the solar-powered tiny home segment, which still has plenty of room for evolution. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Eco-friendly Living:** The trend of eco-friendly living is driving the development of solar-powered tiny homes, offering a minimalist lifestyle with sustainable energy solutions. - **Minimalist Living:** The trend of minimalist living is fueling the demand for solar-powered tiny homes, where small spaces are efficiently designed to maximize comfort and convenience. - **Off-grid Living:** The trend of off-grid living is creating opportunities for solar-powered tiny homes, allowing people to live independently by harnessing renewable energy sources. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Tiny House Manufacturing:** The growing demand for solar-powered tiny homes presents opportunities for the tiny house manufacturing industry to provide innovative, eco-friendly dwellings. - **Renewable Energy:** The renewable energy industry can benefit from the trend of solar-powered tiny homes by developing more efficient solar panels and energy storage solutions for small dwellings. - **Home Appliances:** The home appliances industry can capitalize on the trend of solar-powered tiny homes by creating energy-efficient appliances specifically designed for small living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Solar-Powered Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-wanda.md) - [Cozy Smart Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonoma.md) - [Move-in-Ready Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-house-on-wheels.md) - [Solar-Powered Pop-Up Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-offgrid-cabin.md) - [Compact Off-Grid Bright Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sea-chord.md) - [Solar-Powered Compact Houseboats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fng-sng.md) - [Ultra-Efficient Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hirondelle-tiny-house.md) - [National Park-Inspired Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basecamp-tiny-house.md) - [Adventurous Compact Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pego.md)
