The vintage fan has been equipped with [solar panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-solaris) on each of the fans panels which allow for [ambient mood lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iggy-lamp) when nighttime hits. The Solar Vintage Fan was designed by Elena Corchero and features beautiful embroidery on the fan's panels creating an elegant fashion accessory that also keeps you cool. I really like this idea of bringing back the [old style fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiarmour-titanium-fan); they're so elegant and make everyone look way classier then they probably actually are. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eco-friendly Accessories:** Creating stylish accessories that are also eco-friendly by incorporating solar panels. - **Ambient Mood Lighting:** Adding solar panels to vintage fans to provide ambient mood lighting at night. - **Reviving Old Style Fans:** Bringing back the elegance of old style fans with modern features like solar panels. ### Where This Applies - **Fashion:** Incorporating solar panels into fashion accessories for a stylish and sustainable approach. - **Home Decor:** Exploring the use of solar panels in vintage fans to provide both functional cooling and decorative lighting. - **Renewable Energy:** Promoting the use of solar panels in everyday objects like fans to harness renewable energy sources. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multipurpose Living Space Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-circulation-fan.md) - [Modern Compact Wooden Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fantastic-fan.md) - [Lamp-Equipped Fan Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abode-gale-fan.md) - [Dress Shirt-Friendly Cooling Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-fan-ii.md) - [Unique Book-Inspired Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/book-shaped-fans.md) - [Farmhouse-Style Solar Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarpowered-outdoor-lantern.md) - [Florally-Inspired Ceiling Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-ceiling-fan.md) - [Multi-Functional Tech-Forward Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jisulife-handheld-fan-ultra2.md) - [Modern Folding Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiarmour-titanium-fan.md)
