These baubles retail for $345 for a set of nine celestial planets. Including the sun and the planets (sorry Pluto), each [glass planet is hand painted](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-collection). This beautiful set makes a great party gift for your Christmas-obsessed, astronomy-loving best friend or family member. These luxurious planets capture real depth and each is its own piece of art. Even with a hefty price tag, these baubles make a great addition to any holiday tree. Created by GlassSculpture.org, the company also makes hand blown wine toppers that resemble the milky way. The stellar Solar System Ornaments are designed by B.E. Johnson and Joy Alyssa Day. Hopefully they add a Pluto ornament in there, for old time's sake. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Hand Blown Glass:** Opportunity for artisans and designers to create unique and artistic glass products. - **Celestial-themed Decor:** Growing demand for celestial-inspired ornaments and decorations to cater to astronomy enthusiasts. - **Luxury Holiday Gifts:** Increasing interest in high-end and unique items as holiday gifts for friends and family. ### Where This Applies - **Artisanal Glassblowing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating custom, high-quality glass products with artistic appeal. - **Home Decor:** Potential for businesses to offer a range of celestial-themed decor items to meet the rising demand. - **Luxury Goods:** Opportunity to cater to the market of consumers seeking exclusive and expensive gifts for special occasions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Astronomy-Based Children's Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-solar-system-set.md) - [Levitating Solar System Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quantum-solar-system.md) - [Miniature Astronomy Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-planetarium.md) - [Novelty Supermarket Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aldis-novelty-baubles.md) - [Gin-Filled Christmas Baubles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gin-liqueur-baubles.md) - [Solar System-Inspired Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmooval.md) - [3D-Printed Appliance Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limited-edition-christmas-baubles.md) - [Galactic-Inspired Stationary Pins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planet-pins.md) - [Celestial Body Office Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-chair-solar-series.md)
