Instead of a regular old passenger platform, the platform on the Solar Electric Scooter is a fully functioning solar panel which harnesses the sun's energy to power the scooter. The scooter is completely emission-free, making it a great, eco-friendly way to get wherever you want to go. It also has outlets hidden underneath the solar panel so the scooter can be charged on those uncooperative cloudy days. Not only is the Solar Electric Scooter eco-friendly, but by purchasing a scooter through the When You Wish website, $50 will go to charities like Friends of the Earth and Erase Poverty. This new Solar Electric Scooter is a clear advancement in the direction of [sustainable travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beambike).
