The first location will be in Ireland and it will be a wind farming project. The second is located in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, which will be a solar farm. Construction of solar and wind farms is expected to take until 2020. The clean energy project will produce a total of 168,000 MWh each year. The two clean energy initiatives will help Amazon move closer to its goal of only using [renewable energy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/renewable-power-subsidiary) in company operations. The new sustainable initiatives mark the 66th total energy project that the company has undertaken. Amazon states that all of its green energy initiatives produce a total of 1,342 MW of sustainable energy.
