# Illuminated Micro Bubbles 'Soho Snog' Light Installation in London Frozen Yogurt Shop By Cowbag | Published 2009-03-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soho-snog-light-installation-amazing-yoghurt-shop-decor References: [dezeen](http://www.dezeen.com/2009/03/15/soho-snog-by-cinimod-studio/) This Soho Snog light installation is amazing, and can be found inside a frozen yogurt shop in London. The [lamp cluster](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aesop-and-bocci) designed by UK's Cinimod Studio truly makes me smile, proving the effectiveness of the bubbly design and positive marketing impact. Massive numbers of [glass spheres](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant) were used, over 700 to be exact. They are hung in a big cluster from the ceiling and have a [colour changing transformer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb). Essentially, its a simple concept; the result is actually massively effective. Somehow it also appears to be a perfect fit with frozen yogurt. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Bubbly Lighting:** There is an opportunity for lighting design companies to create more bubbly, whimsical lighting installations in retail spaces. - **Hanging Clusters:** An opportunity exists for companies to experiment with hanging clusters of elements in interior design settings. - **Colour-changing Transformers:** Companies could incorporate color-changing transformers into their lighting designs, allowing for more customization and artistic expression. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Interior design companies could use illuminated micro bubbles or hanging clusters to create unique light installations in retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces. - **Lighting Design:** Lighting design companies could experiment with color-changing transformers and more whimsical design elements in their products, creating unique and visually striking lighting installations. - **Retail:** Retail companies could incorporate hanging clusters or bubbly lighting designs into their stores, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Stunningly Intricate Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light.md) - [Ice Cream-Resembling Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-serve-lamp.md) - [Suspended Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-lighting-installation.md) - [Candy-Colored Glass Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-ii.md) - [Immersive Boba Tea Shops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yoozoo.md) - [Bulbous Whimsical Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic.md) - [Whimsical Glass Bubbled Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peeka.md) - [Balloon-Like Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-blown.md)
