At first glance, the [ever reflecting SOFTlab (n)arcissus installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowers-and-butterflies-are-dancing) looks like some odd, alien growth formation of some sort. In reality, it is completely man-made out of over 1000 [laser cut panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mathematically-shaped) of mylar and vinyl.

Created for Node 10, the SOFTlab (n)arcissus installation is currently hanging in the stairwell of the [Frankfurter Kunstverein Art Center](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bl-stations) in Germany. Nevertheless, to first-time visitors, it is not clear that it is actually 9 feet tall.
