Sofian Tallal from Design Jordan just finished his new creations: The Chiseled and The U-Turn faucets. The futuristic design of the Chiseled model is a delightful combination between [sharp edges and rounded corners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scandinavian-design-principles1). This high-end faucet will be available soon in stores and although it may be a bit pricey, you have to admit that the design is out of this world. On a more practical note, the U-Turn faucet incorporates in its design additional features that can hold personal objects like a soap, a toothbrush, or whatever you may need in your bathroom/kitchen. With designs like these, very soon we’ll have a hard time choosing the best one for our homes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Futuristic Faucet Designs:** The futuristic and unconventional designs of faucets like Sofian Tallal's Chiseled and U-Turn offer new opportunities for disruptive innovation in the home fixtures industry. - **Integration of Functionality and Design:** The incorporation of additional features in faucets, such as holding personal objects, opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation at the intersection of bathroom/kitchen fixtures and storage solutions. - **Personalized Bathroom/kitchen Fixtures:** The variety of unique and visually striking faucet designs allows for personalized and customized options in the bathroom and kitchen, presenting disruptive innovation opportunities in the home decor market. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Fixtures:** The unconventional faucet designs by Sofian Tallal highlight the potential for disruptive innovation in the home fixtures industry, encouraging companies to explore new design concepts. - **Bathroom/kitchen Accessories:** The integration of additional features in faucets, such as holding personal objects, presents disruptive innovation opportunities at the intersection of bathroom/kitchen fixtures and accessories. - **Home Decor:** The availability of unique and visually striking faucet designs offers disruptive innovation opportunities in the home decor market, allowing consumers to personalize their spaces with distinct design elements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Modern Sliding Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desliz-faucet.md) - [Abstract Industrial Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01-faucet.md) - [Geometrically Inspired Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fantini-oxy.md) - [Ultra-Slick Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohler-billet.md) - [Colorful Resin Faucet Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chromablock.md) - [Made-To-Order Modern Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathroom-faucet-creator.md) - [Sleek Geometry-Inspired Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oxy.md) - [Sculptural Brass-Constructed Mixer Taps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faro-mixer.md) - [Enhanced Stylish Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath.md)
