# Quilt-Couch Hybrids The Sofa Ruche by Inga Sempe Blends Seating With Plush Comfort By Meghan Young | Published 2010-01-24 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sofa-ruche References: [contemporist](http://www.contemporist.com/2010/01/23/sofa-ruche-by-inga-sempe-for-ligne-roset/) & [ingasempe.fr](http://www.ingasempe.fr/index3.htm) Although not plushy or anything, the [Sofa Ruche](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardiners-sofa) looks incredibly comfortable, at least to me. Perhaps it’s the whole quilted cover/duvet look that has me sold, I don’t know. Designed by [Inga Sempe](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabine-mirror) for [Ligne Roset](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kashima), the Sofa Ruche was inspired by summer swing seats. Bringing together the unusual and the traditional, the Sofa Ruche would be a great addition to any home.
