This project essentially utilizes digital tools to identify guilty individuals. Conceived by students from the [Department of Architecture and Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limitededition-skateboard-deck) at Aalborg University, the Social Technologies project works in collaboration with the [Danish National Crime](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meet-me-here) preventing council, sociologists, media artists, architects, and CNC manufacturing companies. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Crime-preventing Architecture:** Creating buildings and structures with safety features to prevent crime using digital tools and technologies. - **Digital Crime Prevention:** Digital technologies and tools used in identifying and apprehending criminals. - **Collaborative Crime Prevention:** Bringing together professionals from different fields to work jointly in designing crime-fighting structures using digital tools. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture and Design:** Opportunities to create new designs and features to enhance security in buildings and structures. - **Law Enforcement:** Use of digital tools to assist in identifying and prosecuting criminals. - **CNC Manufacturing:** Opportunities to manufacture new design features to enhance safety in architectural structures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Novel Home Security Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-security-concept.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md) - [Public Pavilion Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tess-pavilion.md) - [Kinetic Interaction Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transmutation-observatory.md) - [Sculptural Surveillance Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-surveillance.md) - [Children-Collaborative Design Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflect-pavilion.md) - [Terracotta Concrete Community Centers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iztapalapa-pilares-community-center.md) - [Interactive Public Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/radius-transformation-pavilion.md) - [Urban Robot Traffic Safety](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polis.md)
