This is most similar to the 'Reddit Gold' system, except Twitter tips can be withdrawn as currency to be used however the receiver would like. This will be an interesting venue for further monetization and influencer-attraction to Twitter as a whole now that there are increased economic incentives tied to Twitter activity.
