Celebrating it's surroundings, the home blends into nature, geography and climate, pulling inspiration from the reservoir and mountain range below. Set on a four-tonne rock, the home appears as though it is [floating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baan-oo) with a linear and horizontal floorplan. Predominantly facing farmlands, the house uses an earthy color scheme to allow for a flowing indoor-outdoor living scheme. Adding large sliding glass doors to the rear, the design team created a living space that seems larger than life while offering stunning views of the sunset. The new Soaring Rock House echoes [nature in all design aspects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haus-am-lagnesberg) to create a modern yet comfortable space for family to come together. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Nature-inspired Architecture:** Exploring and incorporating natural elements in architectural designs to create harmonious living spaces. - **Indoor-outdoor Living:** Designing homes that seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor spaces for a more immersive and connected living experience. - **Expansive Views:** Creating homes with strategically placed windows and glass structures to offer breathtaking views of the surrounding environment. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture and Design:** Opportunity for architects and designers to embrace nature-inspired designs, indoor-outdoor living concepts, and maximize scenic views in residential and commercial projects. - **Real Estate Development:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create unique properties that emphasize the integration of nature, indoor-outdoor living, and panoramic views to attract discerning buyers. - **Construction and Engineering:** Potential for innovative construction techniques and engineering solutions to bring nature-inspired designs to life, enhance indoor-outdoor connectivity, and maximize the impact of panoramic views in building projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hilltop Modern Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cloud-house.md) - [Modern Mountainous Luxury Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robert-chisholm-architects.md) - [Scattered Boulder-Inspired Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rockbound.md) - [Landscape-Integrated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-by-the-grove.md) - [Mountaintop Cantilevered Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levitae-house.md) - [Off-Grid Oceanside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campos-studio.md) - [Nature-Inspired Hilltop Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/las-rocas.md) - [Contemporary Cantilevered Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/westview-residence.md) - [Sustainable Dynamic Hilltop Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ro54.md)
