# Funnily Festive Smartphone Cases Get Ready for the Holiday Season with the Snowman iPhone Case By Nicole Ballantyne-Choo | Published 2013-11-07 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowman-iphone-case References: [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/listing/111500960/snowman-iphone-case-some-of-my-best?ref=br_feed_26&br_feed_tlp=holidays) Show your friends you're ready for the cold winter months with the adorable snowman [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tech21) case. This protective cover from Arete on [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/native-app) pokes fun at friends in a festive and humorous way. When you start using this case, the first detail your friends will notice is the happy snowman and they'll know you're ready for the holidays. The text, however, isn't as cute. In black font is the hilarious phrase, "some of my best friends are flakes!" which can be interpreted in a few ways. While this text could be seen as offensive, a good sense of humor will ensure you're just joking. On the other hand, this snowman iPhone case could be viewed as a compliment to your best friends, as you can inform them you think they're all unique and beautiful (snow)flakes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Funny Smartphone Cases:** Opportunity for creative and humorous smartphone case designs that bring joy and laughter to users. - **Festive Phone Accessories:** Growing demand for holiday-themed phone cases and accessories to celebrate special occasions. - **Personalized Protective Covers:** Rise of customized phone cases that allow users to express their individuality and sense of style. ### Who This Affects Most - **E-commerce:** Online platforms specializing in unique and fun smartphone cases can capitalize on the trend. - **Fashion and Accessories:** Incorporating holiday-themed phone cases into fashion accessory lines presents an opportunity for growth. - **Gift and Novelty:** Retailers offering funny and festive smartphone cases can target the gift and novelty market segment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stocking Stuffer Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tech21.md) - [Holiday Case Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2024-holiday-collection.md) - [Design-Forward Phone Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otterbox1.md) - [Personalized Emoji Tech Protectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memoji-case.md) - [Smartphone Case Pin Charms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-smartphone-cases.md) - [Playful Custom Tech Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charm-phone-case.md) - [Sitcom Smartphone Protectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-office-x-casetify-collection.md) - [Floral-Themed Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floralthemed-phone-cases.md) - [Adorable Love-Themed Phone Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/valentines-day-phone-cases.md)
