'Silent Night' is about to get a whole lot louder, thanks to this speaker. The Snowflake speaker is a concept designed by Sylvain Gerber. You can dock your iPod in it and the ‘flake’ will pulsate and change colors according to the beats of the song. This is one of those rare speaker concepts that would look cooler in stores than it would online. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Winter-themed Tech:** Designing and marketing electronics with winter motifs and features to cater to the holiday season - **Music-responsive Lighting:** Developing unique lighting products that react to music beats to enhance the user's listening experience - **Conceptual Speaker Design:** Incorporating unique designs or themes into speaker concepts to stand out in the crowded electronics market ### Sectors Adopting This - **Electronics:** Incorporating winter-themed features into consumer electronics, particularly audio equipment - **Home Decor:** Partnering with audio designers to create stylish speaker designs that double as decorative accents - **Entertainment Lighting:** Expanding lighting products to respond to music and other entertainment sources beyond just traditional home theater setups ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Gondola-Inspired Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gondola-bluetooth-speaker.md) - [Chinese Lantern-Like Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sirocco-speaker.md) - [Acousto-Optic Smart Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-wireless-speaker-design.md) - [Shell-Inspired Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shell-intelligent.md) - [Headphone-Holding Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cornucopia-speaker.md) - [Fashionable Portable Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-speaker-concept.md) - [Circular Wireless Portable Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aureola.md) - [Floating Spherical Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alex-casabo.md) - [Donut-Shaped Wireless Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-speaker.md)
