It will add that wintry touch to the home that some have been craving. Granted, those living in the Northern Hemisphere will be experiencing real winter weather in just a couple of short months. Designed by AAStudio, a creative firm based in Bucharest, Romania, the Snow Melting Table is not necessarily made for Ice Queens and Father Christmas. Instead, it is a chilly piece of home decor that could provide a serene sense of magic. Inspired by a [rock formation covered in snow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soda-iced-table) known as Babele from the Carpathian Mountain, the [organic form of the table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fels-coffee-table) is made out of Corian and stratified wood. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Winter Furniture:** Designing winter-themed furniture pieces could appeal to those living in areas with harsh winters, providing an opportunity for unique and creative decor solutions. - **Organic-inspired Furniture:** Taking inspiration from natural formations, such as Babele from the Carpathian Mountain, can create unique furniture designs that celebrate the beauty of the outdoors. - **Innovative Materials for Furniture:** Experimenting with new materials, such as Corian and stratified wood, can provide a fresh take on furniture design and open up opportunities for designers and manufacturers alike. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers could create winter-themed or nature-inspired pieces and explore the use of new materials to differentiate themselves from competitors. - **Home Decor:** Retailers in the home decor industry could offer a unique product line of winter-inspired furniture pieces to customers looking for ways to decorate their homes seasonally. - **Manufacturing:** Manufacturers of furniture and decor could explore the use of innovative materials, such as Corian and stratified wood, in their products to offer a new and exciting range for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Frosted Light Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-collection-1.md) - [Aquatic Lake Wood Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snhetta-intersection-table.md) - [Communal Fireplace Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hearth-coffee-table.md) - [Lake-Sourced Minimal Wooden Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intersection-table.md) - [Winter-Ready Gaming Setups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kotatsu-futon-bhk2500kf.md) - [Cloud-Inspired Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-tables1.md) - [Topographical Recycled Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-coffee-tables.md) - [Shimmering Oceanic Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liquid-table.md) - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md)
