As the weather changes to colder temperatures, athletic retails begin coming out with its latest sneakerboot designs. A sneakerboot is a great way to keep the style and casual feel of a sneaker while having the functionality of a boot.

A good example would be this year's release of the [Nike](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-max-plus-hiker-boot) Air Max 90 Sneakerboot. The Air Max series has been a long-running successful line of sneakers, but it has since been adapted to work in colder climates. The Air Max 90 has an [all new black colorway](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nike-vomero-premium-black-realtree), a pattern seen in recent sneakerboot releases. Nike opted to use the [Air Max 95](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-max-95-big-bubble) silhouette and retrofit it with a sleek high-top boot finish. Not only is the Air Max 90 Sneakerboot a great fashion piece, its waterproof exterior makes for an all-weather shoe.
