The new Snarkitecture installation is debuted at Intersect which is a creative hub located in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan. The New York-based design firm takes the opportunity to produce a responsive, large-scale artwork.

Throughout the exhibition room, [168 spheres are installed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-collection-1). The orbs are held in place by "flexible, swaying poles." They are suspended both from the ceiling and they also come out of the floor, creating a kind of a mirroring effect. When one comes in contact with the Snarkitecture installation, however, the [LED lights change colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible). This is made possible through "the same technology that triggers the shifting orientation of a smartphone screen."

The orbs are responsive to touch, motion, acceleration, and direction. Hence, Snarkitecture creates a strongly [immersive environment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch) in a very small space.
