[Snap](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spectacles-gen-5) teamed up with [Westfield London](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/programmatic-targeting-solution) to launch Snapbots in its shopping centers that give consumers the chance to try Snap's Spectacles.

Snapbots from Snap take the form of vending machines that give consumers the chance to purchase a pair of the connected eyeglasses. With a pair of these Spectacles that boast a 115-degree lens, consumers are able to share their experiences in the center while shopping, browsing for outfits and eating food. These captured videos take the form of circular 10-second videos from a dynamic first-person perspective. Once recorded, these videos can be downloaded and sent to a friend, or instantly shared via [Snapchat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snapchat-7).

The partnership between Westfield and Snap is part of an experience-first strategy that aims to give consumers the chance to try the new technology before committing to a purchase.
