Although the separate components of this series is hardly similar to these reptiles, being much more rectangular than anything else, when strung together they have a decidedly slithery quality to them. People are able to create as long or short a system as desired in any direction. Designed by Ukraine-based Junonna Trotsiuk, the Snakes portable speakers are available in three sizes. [Bluetooth-enabled](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orgdot-n200) with built-in microphones, they are perfect for personal use as well as business meetings. According to the designer, “The main feature of the columns is that they easily transform as you like. You can rotate each segment about its axis by 360 degrees and still they have a good sound to 360 degrees." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Sound Systems:** There is a potential opportunity for companies to develop more customizable and versatile audio products that can adapt to various needs and preferences. - **Flexible Speaker Design:** A trend toward more dynamic and flexible speaker design is emerging, which could open up new possibilities for innovative audio technology. - **Bluetooth-enabled Audio Devices:** Wireless, Bluetooth-enabled audio products are becoming more popular in both personal and business settings, presenting opportunities for companies to create even more advanced and user-friendly audio technology. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics Manufacturing:** As the demand for customizable and flexible audio solutions grows, companies in the consumer electronics manufacturing industry could focus on developing modular and adaptable devices to meet this need. - **Audio Technology Development:** New developments in audio technology may stem from the trend towards more flexible and adaptable speaker systems and wireless, Bluetooth-enabled devices. - **Meeting and Conference Technology:** With the Snakes portable speakers being described as perfect for business meetings, companies in the meeting and conference technology industry could benefit from designing and producing similar devices that offer optimum sound quality for professionals on the go. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rolling Pentagonal Speaker Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-speaker-concept.md) - [Futuristic Five-in-One Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-bluetooth-speaker.md) - [Modular Stacking Speaker Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stackable-speaker.md) - [Separated Three-in-One Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/split-speaker.md) - [Building Block Audio Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-bluetooth-speaker.md) - [Geometric Foldable Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pentatonic-1.md) - [Modular Audio Immersion Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takeout-speaker.md) - [Adaptable Kitchen Speaker Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chord-kitchen-speaker.md) - [Two-in-One Speaker Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/one-plus-bluetooth-speaker.md)
