Dubbed the Snake Bar Stool, it is both a piece of furniture and a prop you could place almost anywhere in you house. Being carved from wood, if this were to take off, I would wonder how much weight it could hold, and if it was in reality more of a conversation piece that a usable piece of furniture. Either way, it looks great, and would look good in just about any place in the house. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Nature-inspired Furniture:** Designing furniture inspired by animals could be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the furniture industry. - **Functional Decor Props:** Creating decor items that can also function as furniture could be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the home decor industry. - **Sculptural Furniture:** Developing furniture that is more like a work of art than a functional piece could be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the furniture industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The furniture industry could capitalize on the trend of designing artistic and unique furniture pieces inspired by nature. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry could develop innovative pieces that serve both as decor and functional furniture. - **Woodworking:** The woodworking industry has an opportunity to create one-of-a-kind sculptural furniture pieces for consumers looking for unique statement pieces for their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Industrial Wrapped Plywood Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-bench.md) - [Functional Decorative Rocking Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rool-stool.md) - [Visibly Undulating Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concave-stool.md) - [Slithering Serpent Floor Coverings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lorien-stern-snakes-rugs.md) - [Aquatic Creature-Inspired Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nessie-side-table.md) - [Terrarium Stool Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-stool.md) - [Vibrant Snake Graphic Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snakes-in-the-grass.md) - [Colorful Dual-Purpose Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/s1-stool.md) - [Fruit-Inspired Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-stool.md)
