# Campfire Themed Wings These S'mores Chicken Wings Flawlessly Combine Sweet and Savoury Snacks By Alyson Wyers | Published 2014-07-30 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smores-chicken References: [thatsnerdalicious](http://www.thatsnerdalicious.com/meat/smores-chicken-wings-sound-amazing/) & [dudefoods](http://dudefoods.com/smores-chicken-wings/) If you're looking for a way to combine two of the world's best foods for an epic long weekend snack, these s'mores chicken wings will give you legend status. From [Dude Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/menthole-xxtreme), this recipe involves grilling up wings (either breaded or unbreaded varieties would work) before covering them in marshmallows and adding crumbled graham crackers. After putting them in the oven for a little bit, you add a drizzle of classic [Hershey's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hersheys-smores-variety-kit) milk chocolate to the gooey wings. While chicken wings typically constitute a full meal, you may want to share a plate of these s'mores chicken wings as an appetizer or snack for health purposes. This might be one of the times when there is too much of a good thing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **S'mores-inspired Snacks:** Opportunity for food companies to create innovative and indulgent snacks that offer a unique combination of sweet and savory flavors. - **Gourmet Grilling:** Opportunity for grill manufacturers to develop new grilling techniques and accessories that allow for creative and adventurous recipes like s'mores chicken wings. - **Health-conscious Sharing Plates:** Opportunity for restaurants and food establishments to cater to health-conscious consumers by offering shareable appetizers that satisfy cravings while still being mindful of portion sizes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Food Manufacturing:** Opportunity for food manufacturing companies to experiment with unconventional flavor combinations and create new and exciting products like s'mores-infused snacks. - **Grill Manufacturing:** Opportunity for grill manufacturers to design innovative grill accessories and cooking techniques that enhance outdoor grilling experiences. - **Restaurant and Food Service:** Opportunity for restaurants and food service establishments to tap into the demand for shareable and health-conscious appetizers that cater to diverse taste preferences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Burger Brand Chicken Wings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smashburger-chicken-wings.md) - [Sweet Smokey Chicken Wings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-n-smokey-chipotle.md) - [Convenience Store Chicken Wings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glazed-bbq-classic-wings.md) - [Chicken Wing-Topped Nachos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nacho-average-wings.md) - [Thai Chili Chicken Wings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-thai-chili-wings.md) - [Spicy Chicken Wing Collaborations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kings-wings.md) - [Cheesy BBQ Chicken Pastas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mac-n-cheese-dishes.md) - [Hot Chili Honey Wings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/honey-sriracha-wings.md) - [Creamy S'mores-Inspired Brownies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smores-brownie-1.md)
