Not only does it help ensure butts aren't left homeless to litter street corners and building entrances, it provides a [sleek and minimalist receptacle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder) that would go otherwise unnoticed when not in use. Taking on a Y shape, Smokey by Sopa Design Studio is not only meant to blend into the backdrop, which it does beautifully, but to also create a better system for disposal. The shape also allows two people to use it comfortably. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Smoking Receptacles:** Opportunity to design more discreet and aesthetically pleasing receptacles for smoking disposal. - **Y-shaped Designs:** Opportunity to use unique shapes to enhance functionality and user experience in waste disposal. - **Anti-littering Solutions:** Opportunity to create innovative ways to combat littering and promote environmentally-friendly habits. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Product Design:** Opportunity for designers to incorporate functionality and aesthetic appeal in waste disposal products. - **Environmental Services:** Opportunity for companies to offer products and services that promote eco-friendliness and anti-littering practices. - **Public Space Management:** Opportunity for municipalities and organizations to implement more streamlined and effective waste disposal systems in public areas. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Retro-Modern Ashtray Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/houseplant-side-table-ashtray.md) - [Storage-Equipped Concrete Ashtrays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vessel-ash.md) - [Clamping Windproof Ashtrays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clamping-windproof-ashtray.md) - [High-End Ashtray Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ash-blackwood-ashtray.md) - [Wavy Smoke Wear Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-smoke-wear.md) - [Sculptural Sleek Cannabis Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-set.md) - [Sleek Metallic Incense Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-incense-holder.md) - [Cigarette Waste Hats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shearling-style-hat.md) - [Minimalist Feline Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-hidden-litter-box.md)
