Without a dedicated laundry room within your home, you can easily conceal this integral appliance in your culinary space. The model WMFAB16P gives the visual impression of a mini-fridge at first glance, thanks to a hinged door that hides the round glass window. The front swings open sideways with the help of a handle that looks like it's come straight off of a little vintage refrigerator. Available in cream, pink, pastel blue and black, Smeg 50's Retro Style washing machine will blend in with any kitchen color scheme and match with your existing appliances. It's an aesthetic delight, yet it can be conveniently [tucked beneath the countertop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/integrated-kitchen-appliance). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Retro-style Appliances:** Introducing retro-style appliances that add flair to small spaces. - **Concealed Appliances:** Trend of integrating appliances into unexpected areas, such as kitchens. - **Customizable Color Schemes:** Offering appliances in various colors to match any kitchen design. ### Where This Applies - **Appliance Manufacturing:** Opportunity for appliance manufacturers to create retro-style appliances for small spaces. - **Interior Design:** Potential for interior designers to incorporate concealed appliances into kitchen designs. - **Home Renovation:** Opportunity for home renovation professionals to offer customizable color schemes for appliances in kitchens. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bedroom-Sized Washing Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-drum-washing-machine.md) - [Brightly Colored Luxe Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fab28.md) - [Elevated Kitchen Appliance Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smeg-1.md) - [Portable Washing Machine Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-washing-machine.md) - [Miniature Portable Washing Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-mini-washing-machine.md) - [Celebratory Champagne-Branded Fridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smeg-veuve-clicquot.md) - [Flatpack Portable Washing Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collapsible-washing-machine.md) - [Ultra-Modern Toy-Like Washing Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toshin-machine.md) - [Touchscreen Washing Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chiq-colorluxe-washing-machine.md)
