Yaacov Kaufman went on to design these prototype and one-of-a-kind lights that are on display in Tel Aviv, and Reuven is now in the Israeli Parliament. **Implications** - The lights look as if they fell from space, coming directly from some super contemporary spaceship. They are [abstract polygon shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp) and are draped in a [shiny silver fabric](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape). Enlighten your life with these galactic glowers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Twisted Light Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create unique and abstract lighting designs for contemporary spaces. - **Abstract Polygon Shapes:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to explore unconventional shapes and structures in lighting design. - **Galactic Glowers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to incorporate futuristic and space-inspired elements into lighting aesthetics. ### Where This Applies - **Lamp Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to revolutionize traditional lamp designs with avant-garde concepts. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to enhance contemporary interior spaces with unconventional lighting fixtures. - **Art Galleries:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to introduce unique and eye-catching lighting installations for art exhibitions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multifaceted Glass Crystal Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-light-fixtures.md) - [Futuristic Totemic Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-relics.md) - [Spontaneity-Inspired Sculptural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-designs.md) - [Glassmaking Tubular Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flare-light.md) - [Material-Exploring Industrial-Style Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/industrialstyle-lighting.md) - [Organically Fluid Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-collection.md) - [Stacked Illuminator Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/konnect-pendant-light.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Dynamic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetime-transformation-lamp.md) - [Otherworldly Lighting Fixture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otherworldly-lighting-fixture.md)
