Smashbomb Beer, also known as the Smashbomb [Atomic IPA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-mango-beer-hug), has been rejected by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). No, it's not because it will cause any internal explosions or devasting, life-changing after effcets, but for social responsibility reasons. These reasons include the alleged inappropriateness of its name and its [comic-like label](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garage-beer) which features a gaseous explosion over the top of a building.

There is also a caption, “Go Ahead. Drop the Bomb!,” that can be deemed overtly insensitive for this day and age. It has been such a hit in a London, ON bar that its stock ran dry and had to be re-ordered for this month. A server at that bar claims it is curiosity that makes customers try it, but the taste is what makes them go for seconds.
