The makers of the Smarty Ring say that its battery life is 24 hours, so your phone will probably die before the ring does. The ring also lets you control your phone to a certain degree, letting you activate the camera, accept or reject calls, make calls (to preset numbers) and control your music. Additionally, the Smarty Ring acts as a tether, alerting when your phone has moved beyond your preset limit.
