The rechargeable unit is priced at $69.99, and the replaceable toothbrush will cost $49.99. Colgate's 'hum by Colgate' brush is able to monitor the position of the toothbrush using a gyroscope and an accelerometer that can monitor speed. The sensors are able to track how a person brushes their teeth. The data can be synced to an app, which will inform users how they can improve their brushing routines.
