The smart light draws inspiration from the lights that are often found in recording studios to prevent people from being disrupted and is designed to be connected with your choice of device. This will automatically trigger the light on and prevent a person from being bothered by a family member when they are in an important meeting or video call. The 'On Air' smart status light is the design work of Josh Mosier and can be set to start when programs like Zoom are launched to automatically put a focus on privacy. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Smart Home Office Accessories:** There is an opportunity to create more smart home office accessories that improve work efficiency and productivity. - **Work From Home (WFH) Solutions:** Innovation opportunities exist in providing solutions that enhance the work from home experience. - **Integration of Home and Work Technology:** There is a trend towards integrating home and work technology, creating an opportunity for devices that serve both purposes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Smart status lights like the 'On Air' have potential to contribute to the home decor industry. - **Consumer Electronics:** The smart status light is an example of how consumer electronics can be designed to enhance the work from home (WFH) experience. - **IT Solutions:** Smart status lights can be integrated with IT solutions to improve the work efficiency and productivity of professionals working from home. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Customizable Workplace Productivity Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/busy-tag.md) - [Handheld Video Conference Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pauseme.md) - [Vivid Video Conference Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/video-conference-light.md) - [Physical Video Call Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/virtual-meeting-controller.md) - [Anti-Distraction Workplace Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/busy-bar.md) - [Physical Productivity Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/busy-status-bar.md) - [Workstation-Sanitizing Task Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-desk-light.md) - [Multifunctional Webcam Peripherals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/webcam-and-lighting-tool.md) - [Malleable Webcam Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lume-cube-edge-light.md)
