The shower system consists of both a hand shower as well as a ceiling-mounted rain shower head that would be activated via a panel on the floor to automatically stop the flow when the person exits. A centralized control panel can be used for temperature control and will even allow the person to warm up the water before they start bathing. The 'Smart Shower' concept is positioned as an eco-friendly solution for the home that would be easy to incorporate thanks to its style-conscious design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Smart Home Water Saver:** Develop technology for smart home water systems that can save water and increase conservation like the 'Smart Shower' concept. - **Energy Efficient Plumbing:** Create an energy efficient plumbing system for residential homes that include eco-conscious solutions like the 'Smart Shower'. - **Innovative Bathroom Technology:** Introduce innovative bathroom technology that reduces environmental impact without sacrificing design or functionality, like the 'Smart Shower' system. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Automation:** Home automation companies could explore integrating water conservation technology similar to the 'Smart Shower' into their systems. - **Plumbing and Bathroom Fixtures:** Plumbing and bathroom fixture manufacturers could invest in developing smart shower systems and other eco-friendly products like it. - **Green Building:** The green building industry could benefit from incorporating eco-conscious plumbing like the 'Smart Shower' into their design plans for homes and buildings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Water-Saving Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu.md) - [Accessible Shower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-showers.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Closed-Loop Bathing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upfall-shower.md) - [Water-Saving Bathroom Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bergvattnet.md) - [Instantaneous Hot Water Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heau-shower.md) - [WiFi-Enabled Circular Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-shower.md) - [Japanese Design Shower Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hitachi-shower-heater.md) - [Intelligent Bathroom Bathing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-smart-bath-and-shower-purifier.md)
