Innovative Eyewear — which operates under brand names including Lucyd, Lucyd Armor, Reebok, Nautica, and Eddie Bauer — has introduced the Lucyd Armor Vantage smart safety glasses. A new addition to the Armor product line, this innovation combines certified workplace eye protection with integrated smart technology.

The Lucyd Armor Vantage smart safety glasses feature a patent-pending design with reduced base curvature that allows for compatibility with a full range of prescription lenses and can be processed by any optical laboratory. The silhouette also boasts expanded eye coverage for enhanced particle and impact protection and a rubberized keyhole bridge intended to improve fit for a variety of face shapes. Functionally, the frames incorporate Bluetooth audio with open-ear speakers, voice-controlled access to ChatGPT, real-time translation features, and enhanced Voice over IP walkie-talkie capabilities.

The glasses meet ANSI Z87.1, CSA Z94.3, and EN ISO 16321-1 safety standards, qualifying them for use in industrial settings across the United States, Canada, and Europe.
