In its flagship store in Berlin, Germany, Superdry is now using [smart retail mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swan-beauty-mirror) to provide a "reflection" of customers who wish to try on the latest winterwear styles.

When not in use, the smart mirror doubles as a display for the brand's in-store marketing content. When a visitor to the store steps in front of the mirror, it automatically detects their presence. To interact with the [touchless smart screen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-micro-led-beauty-mirror), shoppers use gestures, such as raising their arms, swiping or lifting both arms to "vote up jacket." This last feature gives shoppers a sense of popular styles, as the jacket models are shown with a number and a like heart on the corner of the screen.

An innovation like this has the potential to make something as essential as a [changing room in a clothing store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-virtual-fitting-room) completely obsolete.
