The new designs are wellness lamps, meaning they don't change color, but provide a temperature-changing glows, with a varying white light settings which range from a calming, candle-lit glow, to a slightly harsher bluish-white glow. Much like the rest of the line, the Phillip Hue smart lamp designs are compatible with most smart home technologies, like Alexa, IFTTT, Nest, Apple HomeKit or the Google Assistant. The ambient lights can be brightened or dimmed throughout the day to meet a person's evolving needs. The design is standard but provides a variety of different services for the homeowner, allowing the user to adjust the lamp brightness to a setting that best suits their needs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wellness Lighting:** The introduction of wellness lamps that provide temperature-changing glows create an opportunity for new products that prioritize well-being. - **Smart Home Integration:** The compatibility of the Phillip Hue smart lamp designs with most smart home technologies opens the door for further innovations in smart home integration. - **Personalized Lighting:** The ability to brighten or dim the ambient lights throughout the day creates a chance for personalized lighting solutions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting:** Wellness lamps indicate a new direction for lighting design and manufacturing, and can generate new product lines for lighting companies. - **Smart Home:** The smart home industry can leverage innovations in wellness lighting and expand the design of smart lamps and other lighting fixtures for modern homes. - **Home Decor:** Personalized and adjustable lighting solutions can create new opportunities for home decor companies to market and sell unique and customizable lighting fixtures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Health-Focused Bedside Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-hue-twilight.md) - [Smart Ambient Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-varmblixt-smart-lights.md) - [Connected Color-Changing Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-hue-flourish.md) - [Scene-Setting Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-hue-spatialaware.md) - [Subtle Smart Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/datura-ceiling-light.md) - [Dynamic Retailer Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-smart-light.md) - [Motion Sensor Automation Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-hue-1.md) - [Seamless Color-Changing Christmas Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/festavia-string.md) - [Tubular Tech-Packed Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/govee-glow.md)
