After making several batches of dark chocolate-covered sea salt caramels and [dark chocolate coffee truffles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chocolate-coffee-tasting), the design agency required boxes with which they could pack their gifts. As a result, it created [luxurious packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esther-price-candies-anniversary-box) covered in black paper labeled with rose gold foil, and a wax seal on each box. Each individual gift has its own personalized messaging with the number of the box and signatures being featured. These gifted small-batch chocolates work to strengthen the relationship between this agency and its clients while simultaneously showing off the brand's capabilities. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 43% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Personalization of Gifts:** More businesses are offering personalized gifts as a way to strengthen relationships with their clients, presenting an opportunity to create personalized packaging and messaging for companies. - **Small-batch Production:** Small-batch production of consumables, such as chocolates, for corporate gifting is becoming a popular trend, creating a need for companies to consider niche production and high-quality packaging. - **Celebration Marketing:** Companies are using celebrations, such as holidays and company milestones, as an opportunity to give personalized gifts, showcasing their brand and building stronger relationships with their customers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Corporate Gifting:** The corporate gifting industry can capitalize on the trend of personalized gifting by offering niche small-batch production, personalized packaging, and messaging services. - **Luxury Packaging:** The packaging industry can satisfy the growing need for branded luxury packaging for small-batch consumables like chocolates, allowing for opportunities to create unique, high-quality packaging and branding solutions. - **Food and Beverage:** The food and beverage industry can explore small-batch production of consumables for corporate gifting, featuring unique flavors, high-quality ingredients, and attractive packaging as a way to appeal to a niche market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [DIY Chocolate Wrappers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-chocolate-wrapper.md) - [Wine-Infused Chocolate Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vine-to-bar-chocolate.md) - [Hand-Painted Vegan Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painted-with-love-chocolate-bon-bons.md) - [Adult-Targeted Milk Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gnaw-chocolate-bar.md) - [Braille-Friendly Holiday Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braille-box.md) - [Bite-Sized Dubai-Style Chocolate Gifts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-chocolate-gift-box.md) - [Stylish Artistic Christmas Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/after-eight-the-design-edition-by-walala.md) - [Business-Focused Gifting Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esther-price-candies.md) - [Extravagant Chocolate Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extrtavagant-chocolate.md)
