Located in Budapest, Hungary, this small space was created by POSITION Collective as a space that could be easily rented to travelers as an alternative to hotels. Although simple, the small apartment design has everything necessary to have a pleasant stay including a full kitchen, ample bathroom and cozy bed that has been placed on a plywood-made pedestal to separate it from the space. A small balcony completes the small space to make it a location that's cozy enough for evenings, but that encourages travelers to get out and see the sights. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Small Apartment Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore innovative ways to maximize the functionality and comfort of small living spaces for travelers. - **Traveling Renters:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop platforms or services that cater specifically to the needs and preferences of traveling renters, offering alternative accommodations to hotels. - **Urban Dwelling Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative solutions for urban dwellers, focusing on compact, efficient and adaptable living spaces that offer a convenient and comfortable lifestyle. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Real Estate:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce new ways of designing and developing real estate properties to cater to the growing demand for compact and versatile accommodations. - **Hospitality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Revolutionize the hospitality industry by offering unique and customizable accommodations that cater to the needs of traveling renters seeking a more authentic and personalized experience. - **Home Furnishings:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design and manufacture space-saving and multifunctional furniture and home decor solutions that optimize small living spaces without compromising on style or comfort. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smartly Designed Compact Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-apartments2.md) - [Cleverly Designed Micro Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabanon.md) - [Reimagined Minimal Parisian Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-cocoon.md) - [Japanese Inn-Inspired Micro Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-tarta-piccola.md) - [Multifunctional Small Studio Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-mescla.md) - [Compact Living Bright Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-ann.md) - [$1 Tiny Apartment Rentals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-apartment-rental.md) - [Reinvented Compact Living](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/affordable-housing-prototype.md) - [Nostalgic 70s-Inspired Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-special-studio.md)
