# Mutant Space Sloth Videos This Sloth Takes Off into Space in This New Sloth in Space Video By Michael Baxter | Published 2014-01-17 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sloth-in-space References: [laughingsquid](http://laughingsquid.com/sloths-in-space-a-catchy-new-song-and-animation-by-weebl/) & [weebls-stuff](http://www.weebls-stuff.com/) There isn't too much you can say about a sloth in space that would make a lot of sense. The things we do know is that he wouldn't be able to do normal astronaut things because he's slow and doesn't have many fingers and also he's a sloth. In this [funny video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/love-you-more) by Weebl we see a Sloth take off into space to [fight Godzilla](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmic-chaos-2) (who is inexplicably in space) and do other sloth astronaut things. This is obviously not ideal and even the singer points that out. Oh yeah, did we mention that he turns into a mutant sloth half way through? Because he does and it only adds to the hilarity. They don't actually say if he beats Godzilla, the fact that he's a mutant, astronaut sloth was probably the real point here. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Video:** Opportunity for innovative video content featuring unique and unexpected combinations, such as sloths in space. - **Humor:** Opportunity for humorous and entertaining content that captures audience attention and drives engagement. - **Visual Effects:** Opportunity for creative use of visual effects to enhance storytelling and create captivating visuals in videos. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Entertainment:** Opportunity for the entertainment industry to produce and distribute entertaining and unconventional video content. - **Advertising:** Opportunity for advertisers to incorporate humor and unexpected elements into their video campaigns to stand out and capture audience attention. - **Animation:** Opportunity for animators to explore unique and imaginative concepts, combining animals and space themes to create visually engaging content. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Baby Sound Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-sleep-aid.md) - [Pizza-Themed Music Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucha-little.md) - [Intergalactic Snacker Musicals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chazmo-the-musical.md) - [Space-Themed Game Seasons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fall-guys-ultimate-knockout.md) - [Spoof Sci-Fi Beer Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liquid-death-x-rebel-moon.md) - [Festive Animated Film Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonic-the-hedgehog-2.md) - [Plush Space-Traveling Bears](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/axiom-space.md) - [Premium Sleepwear Brand Collaborations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sleepy-sloth.md) - [Personalized Video Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/video-cards.md)
