The super lengthy slip and slide journey took one hour and raveled about 774,515 meters. This is an extremely long time to travel down one single water slide. The previous record was 41,404 meters, which is nowhere close to the new record. The previous record-holding trip was taken one year ago so perhaps next summer we can expect to see another attempt to beat the [longest water slide ride](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/okana-resort-indoor-waterpark). The best part of this record-breaking title is that the community members were able to partake in the summer fun together. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Ultra-lengthy Water Slides:** Opportunity for water park developers to create unique and thrilling experiences by building ultra-lengthy water slides. ### Where This Applies - **Amusement Parks:** Amusement park operators can attract more visitors and create memorable experiences by incorporating ultra-lengthy water slides in their attractions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sandwich-Inspired Water Slides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-n-slides.md) - [Outdoor Waterslide Drinking Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/what-do-you-meme-slip-sip-flip.md) - [Record-Breaking Skate Megaramps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-bulls-building-drop.md) - [Fun-Filled Inflatable Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-board.md) - [Long-Range Electric Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flluid2.md) - [Living Waterslide Wellness Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/therme-manchester-wellness-resort.md) - [Record-Breaking Iced Coffees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/worlds-largest-iced-latte.md) - [Extensive Seven-Continent Cruises](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/royal-caribbean-ultimate-world-cruise.md) - [Extended Juice Pouches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/longest-pouch.md)
