# Minimalist Home Offices The Slim Office by Bertjan Pot Eliminates the Extraneous By Jessica Marcel | Published 2009-11-14 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slim-office References: [mocoloco](http://mocoloco.com/archives/012461.php) & [bertjanpot.nl](http://www.bertjanpot.nl/) This office furniture began as a dining room table. After Bertjan Pot noticed customers buying it for a work desk, they designed a number of additions to make a [sleek and functional work station](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wool-felt-studio-pad). Just like that, the [Slim Office](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skylrk-camo) was born. Additions include an attachable trash can, a minimalist message board, and convenient [pull-out drawers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/track-concept). Even with all the additions, the Slim Office remains sleek and modern.
