Zeyu Zeng's faucet design, which can control the flow of water and adjust the preset temperature, enables the productive usage of water while conserving energy. The faucet comes installed with a touch control for both water flow and temperature, and also has a temperature monitor. The Slide Tap also saves a large amount of space around the sink, since it doesn't come with any handles and doesn't have a protruding tap. The shiny, graceful fixture Slide Tap gives the bathroom a sophisticated touch while continuing to foster the eco-friendly mindset to revolutionize the bathroom. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Smartphone-inspired Controls:** The trend of incorporating smartphone-like controls into everyday objects provides an opportunity to create innovative and intuitive user experiences. - **Space-saving Designs:** The trend towards compact and minimalist designs presents an opportunity to create products that save space and enhance functionality. - **Eco-friendly Fixtures:** The growing demand for eco-friendly solutions opens up opportunities to develop water-saving and energy-efficient products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Fixtures:** The bathroom fixtures industry can leverage smartphone-inspired controls to create innovative faucets that enhance user experience. - **Home Renovation:** The home renovation industry can benefit from space-saving designs to offer more efficient and visually appealing bathroom solutions. - **Green Technology:** The green technology industry can develop eco-friendly fixtures that conserve water and energy, meeting the increasing demand for sustainable solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Refined Dishwasher Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grifoa-sliding-faucet.md) - [Motion-Controlled Smart Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-faucets.md) - [Touchless Smart Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-faucet-with-motion-control.md) - [Contactless Voice Assistant Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huayi-smart-voice-control-faucet.md) - [Enhanced Stylish Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath.md) - [Healthcare-Focused Touchless Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chicago-faucet-company.md) - [Pressure-Sensitive Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shower-concept.md) - [Designer Water Purifier Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumos-water-purifier.md) - [Stealthy Limited-Edition Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01.md)
