More often than not, tandem bikes are overlooked in the design world, leaving few options for those who enjoy riding with a partner or child. In the spirit of inclusion, the team at Handsome Cycles began designing tandem bicycles that are both sleek, sophisticated and easy to maneuver. This bicycle, like others from the company, is hand-assembled piece by piece, offering incomparable comfort and safety. The five-speed bicycle enables pairs to adventure through various terrain in a manner that's stylish and easy. Equal parts gorgeous and practical, this bike offers couples a sleek alternative to traditional models. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Transportation](https://www.trendhunter.com/transportation) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sleek Tandem Bicycles:** The trend of designing aesthetically pleasing and sophisticated two-seated bikes. - **Inclusive Design:** The trend of creating tandem bicycles that cater to those who enjoy riding with a partner or child. - **Hand-assembled Bicycles:** The trend of hand-assembling bicycles for incomparable comfort and safety. ### Where This Applies - **Bicycle Manufacturing:** The bicycle manufacturing industry can explore the development of sleek and sophisticated two-seated bikes. - **Outdoor Recreation:** The outdoor recreation industry can provide tandem bicycles to couples looking for a stylish and easy adventure through various terrains. - **Custom Bike Design:** The custom bike design industry can capitalize on the trend of hand-assembling bicycles for ultimate comfort and safety. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Expandable Cargo E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expandable-cargo-ebike.md) - [Designer Manual Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/t-bike.md) - [Two-Seater Electric Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/falcon-ii.md) - [Additional Bike Seat Addons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kazam-co-pilot-bike-trailer.md) - [Unconventional E-Bike Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendler.md) - [Perfectly Fitted Bicycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-bicycle.md) - [Oddball Penny-Farthing Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pennyfarthing-bike.md) - [Compact Collaborative City Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speed-s-bar-bike.md) - [Dual-Seater Folding Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flyer-folding-cargo.md)
