Built in an [industrial building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tengbom), the [new campus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mothers-la-headquarters) takes advantage of those classic design features to make a more inviting and pleasant space for the company's employees. Sky Central was designed by several architecture and design firms, including [AL_A](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paisley-museum), PLP Architecture, and HASSEL. The building has several floors, but each of these surround central wells that give the building a tremendous sense of open space. These wells are on the ground floor, but they are capped off by the roof of the building, giving the communal spaces a cavernous feel that is a metaphor for the kind of thinking that the broadcaster encourages. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Cavernous Industrial Offices:** Embrace industrial design to create open and inviting workspaces. - **Central Wells:** Create central wells in multi-story buildings to provide a sense of open space and encourage communal areas. - **Multi-disciplinary Architecture and Design:** Collaborate with several architecture and design firms to create a unique and inviting workspace. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Broadcasting:** Design industrial-inspired offices for broadcasting companies to encourage open thinking and collaborative work. - **Architecture and Design:** Partner with multi-disciplinary firms to create unique and inviting workspaces that reflect company values. - **Real Estate:** Embrace industrial buildings and convert them into unique office spaces with central features that encourage collaboration and open thinking. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Community-Centric Headquarters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/communitycentric-design.md) - [Vibrant Multi-Level Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gensler.md) - [Steel Structural Dynamic Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skylab-office.md) - [London-Inspired Vibrant Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/area-office.md) - [Modern London Co-Working Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apex.md) - [Large Headquarter-Transformed Housing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hayes-park-central.md) - [Playful Futuristic Work Campuses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/max-zone.md) - [Sleek Fintech Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copper-office.md) - [Tech-Base Workspace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foster-partners4.md)
