# Grape Skull Graffiti Street Vines Are ‘Natures Revenge' By Ludo in Paris By TrendHead | Published 2009-02-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skulls-as-street-grapes-natures-revenge-by-ludo-in-paris References: [woostercollective](http://www.woostercollective.com/2009/02/natures_revenge_by_ludo_in_paris.html) I love street art. It keeps surprising me and I keep finding new great artist who are making progressive artistic statements in the public spheres. Latest is this Paris artist who goes under the name of Ludo. He makes these brilliantly beautiful giant grapes of skulls, and calls them ‘Natures Revenge,’ as seen above in the video posted on woostercollective. I love the way something rather decadent and scary like skulls can be transmuted into expressions of sheer beauty. If you happen to go to Paris anytime soon, keep an eye out for these grapes of skulls hanging on the walls. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/diy) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Progressive Street Art:** The trend of progressive street art opens up opportunities for artists to make bold statements and transform urban spaces. - **Nature-inspired Art:** The trend of nature-inspired art allows artists to reimagine elements from the natural world and create captivating and thought-provoking pieces. - **Decadent Transformation:** The trend of transforming decadent and dark elements into expressions of beauty presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the art world. ### Where This Applies - **Art Galleries:** Art galleries can explore showcasing progressive street art, providing a platform for artists to reach a wider audience and drive sales. - **Tourism:** The tourism industry can leverage the appeal of nature-inspired art to attract visitors, offering art-themed tours and experiences in cities like Paris. - **Public Space Design:** Incorporating elements of decadent transformation into public space design can introduce a new artistic and expressionistic dimension to urban environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Whiskey-Themed Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upfest.md) - [Confectionary Graffiti Murals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jolly-rancher-gummie.md) - [Digital Graffiti NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graffiti-wall-collection.md) - [Street Art-Style Gummy Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jolly-rancher-gummies.md) - [Tree-Integrated Mysterious Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tree-mural.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Evolved Vibrant Graffiti Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jan-kalb.md)
